-South Asia is separated from the rest of the continent by the Hindu Kush, Karakom, and the Himalaya ranges(a wall of mountains).
- Civilization grew in the river valley of the Indus now called Pakistan.
-Mohenjo-daro and Harappa were the greatest cities.

Aryans in India
The first invader of the India were the Aryans and known to be nomads.They came from Iran.They were also a pastoral people and counted the wealth in curs. They offered sacrifices to heroic natur gods, such as India, he thunder god, and Agni, the father god.The blending of the Indus Valley and the Aryans resulted to Hinduism. Sindhu was their language(given to the Indus and Sanskrit).Vedas are their four religious books.Vedas contains hymns,incantations,and rituals. Shruti, Samhita, and Rig Veda are the four collectives in Vedas. Shruti means "that which is heard",Samhita means "collection" and Rig Veda tells about a barbarian tribes that fights and settles in a small villages cultivating crops and grazing goats,sheep, and cattle.Aryans were divided into four social classes: Brahman(priests), Kshatriya(warriors),Vaishyas(farmers or merchants) and Shudras(laborers or craftsmen)(servant class).
